I had plantation shutters fitted to my apartment on all windows. They look stunning. Steve, whose site visits and fits is a professional and will be able to talk through the best solution to your home. His wife does the behind the scene work for the company and does so accurately and efficiently. The product is stylish and will last for years to come, with in my personal opinion a more versatile use than traditional curtains or blinds; being able to alter the light in and out from each individual panel on each shutter. I went for the concealed louvre closing mechanism which I think looks more contemporary than the puller rod version. Also I chose mahogany, which is outstanding against light coloured interior walls. I strongly recommend this product and the company.
